This year the ECALFOR PROJECT “Evaluation of teacher training in Latin America and the Caribbean has started. Quality assurance of educational qualifications ”. This project is made up of different educational institutions and organizations in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe with the purpose of carrying out, between 2020 and 2023, an analysis of the characteristics and quality of the teacher training that is imparted and received by students who are preparing to become teachers of compulsory education centers in primary and secondary education.
ECALFOR is a project integrated by an international consortium and which is coordinated by Dr. Oswaldo Lorenzo Quiles, current Vice Dean of Research, International Projects and Transfer from the Faculty of Education and Sports Sciences of Melilla at the University of Granada.
During October 16 to 18, 2019, the first meeting of the international consortium created for the preparation and application of this project took place, which integrates different educational institutions and organizations from Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.
