On Monday, July 1, the inauguration of the EDIV 2024 International Summer Doctoral School took place, titled Educational and Social Research on the Frontier of Knowledge and jointly between the Autonomous University of Yucatán (Mexico), the European project ECALFOR, the Faculty of Educational and Sports Sciences of Melilla and the Official Doctorate Program in Educational Sciences of the UGR.
With the presence of the Rector of UADY, Carlos Alberto Estrada Pinto, presiding over the event, the general coordinator of ECALFOR, Dr. Oswaldo Lorenzo, presented the progress achieved so far by the project.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Education and Sports Sciences of Melilla, Lucía Herrera, the Dean of the Faculty of Education of UADY, Pedro Canto, and the Coordinator of the official Doctorate in Sciences program of Education of the University of Granada, Eva Olmedo.
The International Doctoral Summer School (EDIV) is proposed as a space for advanced face-to-face training, intended for doctoral and master's students, within the framework of research in educational and social sciences. EDIV is carried out in a multidisciplinary environment and with the participation of students from different countries, with international professors who are experts in this scientific field. Furthermore, the topics addressed by the EDIV are transversal to many disciplines linked to the broad field of social sciences.
