From November 20 to 22, 2023, in Panama City, the General Coordinator of ECALFOR, Dr. Oswaldo Lorenzo, together with several members of the project were active participants in the first Erasmus+ Regional Week in Latin America and the Caribbean, which was carried out through this program:
This event was established as a strategic convergence point for three different, but intrinsically interconnected, activities, jointly forming the cornerstone of the Erasmus+ Regional Week. These activities included the Annual Regional Meeting of the ENFP (Education and Vocational Training), the Regional Meeting of Thematic Groups and the Contact Seminars.
The active participation of the ECALFOR team in this international initiative highlights its continued commitment not only to regional cooperation, but also to global cooperation in educational matters. This meeting provided a unique space for the exchange of ideas, the discussion of innovative approaches and the strengthening of networks that will promote the development of joint projects in the field of education in Latin America and the Caribbean.
In addition, the ECALFOR project also held a project monitoring meeting during this visit to Panama, at ISAE University, which took place on Thursday, November 23, 2023, with the presence of the European Union Capacity Building project managers:
The General Coordinator of ECALFOR, Oswaldo Lorenzo, also attended the meeting, and it was attended by a large number of authorities from ISAE University. The meeting was attended by the presidents of the meeting, the Rector, Vice-Rectors and the person responsible for the organization of the meeting, Professor Ulina Mapp.
