From July 14 to 18, 2021, the first in-person meeting of the ECALFOR project consortium took place at the Autonomous University of Yucatán (UADY, Mexico). The mobility restrictions that affected most countries in the world at that time, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, did not allow this meeting to take place anywhere else.

We must thank the UADY for giving ECALFOR the possibility of holding this meeting, which was very positive by giving the different ECALFOR institutions the opportunity to meet their representatives personally and in person and to be able to discuss the project directly. .

The work meeting at UADY was determined by the attached program, in which different academic and political authorities participated. Likewise, this meeting was in a hybrid format (in-person and online), which allowed greater participation by all partners and academics of the project.
