During the more than twenty years of collaboration between the Faculty of Education and Sports Sciences of Melilla and different universities and institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean, numerous agreements and contracts of general and specific collaboration have been promoted and signed between the University of Granada and universities from Mexico, Brazil, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Panama, etc.
Some of the main objectives of the projects developed with these higher education centers in Latin America have been the following:
– extend the international presence in Latin America of the Faculty of Education and Sports Sciences of Melilla, as well as the historical-artistic heritage of the Autonomous City of Melilla;
– increase the knowledge of the University of Granada in the Latin American and Caribbean region, of high strategic interest for the foreign, academic and cultural relations of Spain and the EU;
– establish agreements and joint collaboration programs in cultural, training and postgraduate matters;
– Promote the progressive exchange of teachers and students between the University of Granada, the Faculty of Education and Sports Sciences of Melilla and the higher education institutions with which it collaborates in Latin America.
